Lisa Marien will be joining the band, singing classics from the Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan songbook, among other tunes.

Lisa Marien has been delighting audiences with her jazz and pop stylings for over 30 years. Often compared to a young Sarah Vaughan, she fuses her experiences and influences to present a varied repertoire of classic and contemporary vocal jazz. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree/Arts Concentration from Wesleyan University. Her daytime hours are spent in the classroom, teaching general music, chorus, contemporary a cappella and world music drumming to grade K-5 students at Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School in New London, Connecticut.

It is always free to see the band, but to guarantee a seat, you may make a reservation for $5 per person, or $15 for a table of 6, by calling (860) 442-6900. If you do not pay in advance, you must arrive by 7pm. All proceeds go towards the band :)
